Centrifugal fan manufacturer in Ahilyanagar — formerly Ahmednagar, and both our plants are here.

This is the manufacturing hometown. Plot N-7 and Plot B-20/2 at MIDC Ahilyanagar are where the plate is cut, the wheels are welded and balanced, the fans are painted, and every machine is run on our own test rig before it is packed. Our sales and estimation office is in Pune — the two cities carry equal weight in this company.

Two plots at MIDC Ahilyanagar, one works.

Jitamitra has built centrifugal fans at MIDC Ahilyanagar since 2011, and the company has been registered since 2009. The works run across two plots in the same MIDC area, and a job moves between them as the process needs; together they carry more than 45,000 sq ft of built-up area and a team of over 70 people.

The city was renamed from Ahmednagar to Ahilyanagar. Both names point at the same MIDC area and the same two plots.

What happens here

Plate in at one end, a tested fan out at the other.

Cutting, forming, fabrication, welding, balancing, painting, assembly and testing are all done in our own plants. Machining is done by approved suppliers, to our drawings and our inspection, and ultrasonic or radiographic testing of welds goes through partner laboratories when your specification calls for it.

Welding — by welders qualified to ASME Section IX, re-tested on a schedule.
Balancing — in-house, to ISO 21940, with the grade your specification calls for.
Testing — every fan is run before dispatch on our own 200 HP VFD rig, to the IS 4894 / ISO 5801 / AMCA 210 method. Fans above the rig's power are run at derated speed and scaled to the specified duty by the fan laws — that is how a 425 HP forced-draft fan was proved here.
Materials — carbon and structural steels, stainless and duplex grades, Hardox wear liners and corrosion-resistant construction, chosen to your duty. The grades we build in →

Coming to the works

Inspecting and witnessing at MIDC.

Customers assess this plant before they place work here, and they come back to witness the fan running. A witnessed performance test on the rig is available on request, and in-process or pre-dispatch inspection is arranged around the stage you want to see. Tell the desk which it is when you send the enquiry, and the dates go into the plan rather than being fitted in afterwards.

Where is your factory?

At MIDC Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra — on two plots. Manufacturing Plant 1 is Plot N-7, MIDC Area, Ahilyanagar 414 111; Manufacturing Plant 2, the main unit, is Plot B-20/2, MIDC Area, Ahilyanagar 414 111. Together they carry 45,000+ sq ft of built-up works. Our sales and estimation office is in Pune.

Is Ahilyanagar the same as Ahmednagar MIDC?

Yes. Ahmednagar was renamed Ahilyanagar, and both names refer to the same city and the same MIDC area. Our plots have not moved and the addresses are unchanged; only the city name is written differently on newer documents.

Can I visit the works, or witness a test?

Yes. Customers inspect at our works, and we run witnessed performance tests on the rig on request — it is a normal part of how jobs here are closed out. Tell us the stage you want to see, in-process or pre-dispatch, and we plan the visit around it.

Do you supply outside Maharashtra from Ahilyanagar?

Yes. Everything is built here and dispatched from here, across India and on export projects. Where a fan needs an engineer on site afterwards, the three coverage tiers on this page say where our service engineers attend.

What can you build at these plants?

Centrifugal fans and blowers up to 2,25,000 CMH, 2,000 mmWC and 425 HP, on gas temperatures to 500 °C, with impeller diameters up to 3,000 mm. Cutting, forming, welding, balancing, painting and testing are all done in our own plants; machining is done by approved suppliers to our drawings.
