AIR POLLUTION CONTROL

The Air-Mover Inside the Plant

95,000 CMH350 mmWC180 HP (132 kW)

The customer builds air pollution control and filtration systems out of Karnataka. They are a systems integrator: the plant they hand their client is only as good as the field performance of what moves the air through it. When the fan under-delivers, the whole abatement train drifts — capture goes soft, filter loading goes wrong. So the air-mover is not a bought-in commodity to them. It is core.

That is why the duty is hard, not why it looks hard on paper. Pollution-control and filtration work means dust-laden gas, and the flow has to hold to keep capture rates and filter loading right — at 95,000 CMH, against 350 mmWC of static, on 180 HP (132 kW). The number on the data sheet is easy. Holding that number order after order, unit after unit, on real handled gas, is the job.

We supply the customer centrifugal blowers, direct-drive blowers, and impellers — engineered to the duty in front of them, not pulled from a shelf. Each unit is performance-tested in-house on our 200 HP VFD test rig, to the IS 4894 / AMCA 210 method, before it leaves. The test is the point: proof, not promises. A fan that reads right on paper and reads right on the rig is the only fan that reads right in the field.

The relationship is multi-year and repeat: blowers, then direct-drive units, then impellers, order after order. Integrators do not keep coming back to a fan supplier out of habit. They come back because the curve holds every time, and because they can put their name on the plant it sits inside.

"It is with great confidence that we recommend JITAMITRA Electro Engineering Private Limited as a supplier of centrifugal fans and blowers. We have always preferred JITAMITRA products and services for our business as they have shown consistency in quality, timely delivery, and professional integrity. JITAMITRA stands out for its precision engineering, adherence to international standards, and rigorous performance testing. Their technical expertise, transparent pricing, and responsiveness make them a trusted and strategic asset in our supply chain."— Head of SCM · a Karnataka-based air-pollution-control systems integrator (April 2025)

If you are integrating an abatement or filtration train and the air-mover has to hold its curve in the field, send us the duty — flow, static, gas, the constraints you are working inside. We will tell you what we would build for it, and we will test it to the method before it ships. No parameter is too specific to start the conversation.

Questions

Frequently asked

Capture rates on my abatement train have gone soft. Could the fan be the reason?

It can be. When the fan under-delivers, the whole abatement train drifts — capture goes soft, filter loading goes wrong. Pollution-control and filtration work means dust-laden gas, and the flow has to hold to keep capture rates and filter loading right. The air-mover is not a bought-in commodity on a package like that.

I integrate APC systems and buy fans in. What actually makes a duty like this hard?

Not the number itself. The duty here is 95,000 CMH against 350 mmWC of static, on 180 HP (132 kW) — easy to write on a data sheet. Holding that number order after order, unit after unit, on real handled gas, is the job.

How is the fan proved before it ships — do I get more than a computed curve?

Each unit is performance-tested in-house on our 200 HP VFD test rig, to the IS 4894 / AMCA 210 method, before it leaves. The test is the point: proof, not promises. A fan that reads right on paper and reads right on the rig is the only fan that reads right in the field.

Do you supply impellers on their own, or only complete blowers?

We supply centrifugal blowers, direct-drive blowers, and impellers — engineered to the duty in front of them, not pulled from a shelf. The relationship on this account is multi-year and repeat: blowers, then direct-drive units, then impellers, order after order. Integrators do not keep coming back out of habit.

Who is the reference on this page, and are the photographs the customer's own units?

The quote is from the Head of SCM at a Karnataka-based air-pollution-control systems integrator, April 2025; the customer is not named here. The fans shown on the page are real dispatched units from this duty class, nameplate-scrubbed — representative of the work, not the customer's own unit.

My duty is unusually specific. Is it worth sending?

Yes. Send the duty — flow, static, gas, the constraints you are working inside. We will tell you what we would build for it, and we will test it to the method before it ships. No parameter is too specific to start the conversation.
